Dear Students,

I hope you are doing well. Starting on Monday (March 30, 2020) we will start using a new program called Seesaw.

Information from the Seesaw:

Seesaw: The Learning Journal provides opportunities for students -- and teachers -- to really think outside the box. Students can show their work and thought processes in real time by submitting a video of themselves working through a math problem, snapping a picture of a paragraph they wrote, recording themselves reading a journal entry, or uploading a file to demonstrate their learning.

Teachers at all grade levels and across all content areas can use Seesaw to keep digital portfolios of student work, including commenting on student submissions. You can communicate with families easily and share student work with them, or push out assignments to students to individualize instruction. You can also choose work to share with a broader audience via a blog.

How to log-in to SEESAW

1. Go to https://app.seesaw.me on a computer. Or install the Seesaw Class App on an iOS or Android device.

2. Choose “I’m a Student”.

3. Type in your student code  to access your Seesaw account—you only have to do this once.

Please email me for your student code.

If you are in need of a device to do your online assignments, consider an Amazon Fire 7 or 8 tablet. It is a relatively inexpensive option ($50) that give you what you need.
